Meet our dedicated team
Tim has been in position since the Way’s took over the hotel in 2013. Formally managing the Fishermans Cot in Bickleigh, and a professional golfer in a previous life, Tim has built a fantastic team and though their hard work and determination they have secured 1st class reputation for fine food and great service.
Barrie has been heading up the kitchen team for 4 years and has had many triumphs including two highly regarded AA Rosettes during his time at The Luttrell. He and his brigade of 8 chefs are constantly pushing the boundaries and creating new and exciting dishes for our guests and visitors to enjoy.

Abigale has been at the Luttrell for nearly 2 years and has made a huge impact. A natural leader and hugely inspiring to her team Abi can be found in all departments of the hotel offering help, guidance, encouragement and her energy that brings smiles to the faces of those around her, guests and colleagues alike.
Our dedicated team of unsung heroes
We are very fortunate at The Luttrell to have a dedicated team, many of whom have been working at the hotel since long before the Way family took ownership. The unsung heros within the housekeeping department know every inch of the hotel and maintain Mr Ways painfully high levels of cleanliness and maintenance which is no mean feat in a historic hotel such as the Luttrell. In addition our front of house and reception team assure you are always met with a smile and a warm welcome at anytime of the day or night. Many people will know and love Mandy, her dedication to the Luttrell Arms has seen her put in over 25 years of loyal service, brightening breakfast service for all who stay overnight!
