Dunster is one of Somerset’s best kept secrets set between Exmoor National Park and The Bristol Channel. The village skyline is dominated by the castle standing on a hill that rises 85 metres above the sea. The home of the Luttrell family over 600 years it is now a National Trust property. Air: Bristol 53 miles
Road: The A39 North Devon coast road is the main route to Dunster. Turn south towards Tiverton on the A396. This is the Steep, which becomes the High Street. The hotel is on the left-hand side.
